How to spot the fakes

Hey guys, today I'm going to show you how to make sure you are getting a real iPod instead of a cheap fake. One of the best ways to spot a fake is to make sure you follow these golden rules.

Rule 1.
Read the full description of the product. A lot of people take advantage of the fact most people will read the products name and not bother reading the full description. Sure it says "wholesale ipod touch 16gb mp4 player IPOD". But what they don't tell you is that it isn't an actual iPod touch. Upon inspecting the details of the listing it says 2.8" screen ipod look alike. then further down the bottom of the page it says "This item is not original, but good in quality and price with 2.8" ipod like screen. you can choose with logo or without logo. welcome to your order". Make sure that the iPods has a 3.5" screen, that is the correct size of the screen on an iPod.

Rule number 2.
Always make sure you check that they will work with the apple software like iTunes and other compatible products for iPods like the docking stations and speakers. You don't want to get your product and not be able to have use it properly because you didn't bother to check it was compatible. Which brings us to our next rule.

Rule 3.
Make sure you ask questions about the product.Let me say that again in bold. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS! The reason the seller puts down "If you need any more information feel free to ask." is so that you will ask a question regarding the iPod. If you send a question and the seller hasn't responded within a few days and you can see that he has been online for during the past few days your question was asked, yet hasn't bothered to respond is that the answer to your question is no and they are hoping that you will just buy the product anyway.

Rule 4.
Use common sense. If the price on the product is way lower than the retail price then you can almost be guaranteed that it's not a genuine iPod. For example, you see a listing on a website that offers ipods, but you see that the price per item is about $30. There is no way that you will be getting a real iPod for that price. The lowest price for iPods that most wholesalers have is roughly $100 USD give or take $5.

That's all the rules i can think you will need. Next lesson we will go over the different payment types and the best payments to use.
